A Story of Hope is a 25 minute documentary short film shot and edited by Ryan Morrison. It is about the barriers to and importance of education in Kenya and what the organization Rising Daisies is doing about it.
We will be announcing the date soon of our first showing at the Des Moines Art Center - Levitt Auditorium (4700 Grand Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50312).
It will be a viewing followed by a short Q&A with the filmmaker and organization founder.

I love storytelling. I also love meeting people and learning about what they are passionate about.
I started in photography around 2003 and I also wanted to make movies so I started working on video projects about 10 years ago. I taught photo & video editing while working for Apple and then went full time into video work in 2014. I focus on quality and craftsmanship in what I do and love being a judge for both the regional Emmy® awards and a member of the Telly Awards Judging Council.
My greatest joy in life is being a husband and father, spending quality time with friends and family, walking, reading, and traveling.
